Be Intentional With Your Vision

“Vision is the ability to see something in the present or in the future.

Intention is the determination that we set to reach our goal.

Be intentional about having a vision and not allowing anything to stop you from reaching it.”

The Patient Traveler

The Patient Traveler

“Does it irk you when you have somewhere to be and the person in the vehicle ahead of you is driving super slow?

(laughs).

If not, then I commend you.

We pass them up, shake our head and keep driving to our destination. While the person in the other vehicle keeps taking their time and driving to their destination.

The reason why the person in the other vehicle is never bothered by how slow they are driving is because they have one goal in mind.

And no, it was never about slowing you down. (joking)

Their main focus is to reach their destination at their pace.

Throughout life why do we choose to measure the time it takes someone to reach their success to the time it takes us to reach ours?

Everyone has their own pace, their own path and not to mention their own bumps in the road.

And truth be told, some of those paths and bumps would have forced a lot of us to turn around on our journey.

So let’s stop comparing the time it takes to reach the destination and start encouraging each other to stay on pace and keep going.

Be patient, the goal is not how quickly you reach your destination.

The goal is simply to reach the destination”

Everything I Need To Succeed Is Within Me

Everything I Need To Succeed Is Within Me

“Nothing Can Stop Me.

No Person.

No Plot.

No Force.

No Circumstance.

Nothing.

I Repeat…

Nothing.

Everything I Need To Succeed Is Placed Within Me.”

Reduce The Excuses Increase The Solutions

Reduce The Excuses Increase The Solutions

Don’t you get tired of excuses?

“Challenging situations can bring us numerous reasons/excuses why we can’t overcome them.

Yes, I agree challenges can be difficult. Yes, I agree challenges can be frustrating.

Nevertheless, I always want to hold myself accountable for finding more time to find a solution and less time making excuses.

The more time that you spend seeking a solution, the quicker the problem can be solved.

There is not a challenge created that we can not overcome.

We control our destiny and we must use our power to get to the solution so that we can overcome our challenges and move toward our destiny.”

Wipe Away Negativity

Wipe Away Negativity

“Life is a journey that is traveled and filled with high and low experiences.

The key to handling and managing the ride is to keep your vehicle maintained and make sure all the parts in your vehicle are performing to their operating standards.

In other words you want to make sure you build a sound foundation that you can lean on in order to withstand anything that comes your way.

One of the main parts of the vehicle that needs to be in working condition is your windshield wipers.

This is equivalent to keeping a sound mind that reminds you of your purpose and your power so that your vision is clear and you will always stay focused on the goal and task at hand.

Keep a sound mind, always make sure your windshield wipers are in working condition so when those negative experiences try to pour down on you and obstruct your vision…..You can always wipe them away and see clear again.”

Finish Strong

Finish Strong

“It doesn’t matter what you dealt with this week.

It doesn’t matter how tough or challenging this week was.

What matters is that….

You made it.

You achieved.

You succeeded.

Take a deep breath, embrace your victory and

Finish Strong.

Power Over Challenge

Power Over Challenge

Do your challenges feel overwhelming?

“Naturally and truthfully, yes our challenges tend to get the best of us.

However, we must remember that we were called to have power to rule over our challenges.

Not the other way around.

If the challenges you are facing are getting the best of you then it’s time to reverse course and take back your power.

Remember, you are powerful beyond measures.

You are a ruler over the situations in your life and your challenges are meant to be conquered.

Take back your power.

-Darrius E. Littleton

Keep Pushing

Keep Pushing

“You should never feel discouraged or embarrassed about the challenges you had to overcome.

The only statement that matters in the end is….

but, despite it all I kept pushing.”

-Darrius E. Littleton

The Winner Within

The Winner Within

Do you recognize the champion within yourself?

“When is the last time you looked in the mirror and raised your arms in victory.

If the answer isn’t anytime in the past 7 days then I need you to start today.

You were born to be a champion.

You were created with your own gifts and talents for a divine purpose to conquer the world.

It’s time you act like it.

Train your mind and start to stack together winning habits to overcome any obstacles that may stand in your way.

Overcome the challenges and defend your title.

Make up your mind that you can’t be defeated.

Victory is yours, now its time to let the world know….

THE CHAMP IS HERE.”

“Strive for perfection.

In order to reach perfection, you must be committed to growth.”

The Right Time

The Right Time

When is the right time to focus on the things you want out of life?

“Excellent question.

Your goals and dreams are all tied to time.

That means timing is everything.

But,…

When is the right time?

The right time is determined by the effort you make in order to get those dreams and goals in motion.

This way whenever the perfect time comes, you will have aligned your goals and dreams with the opportunity.

Start making time today so that your goals and dreams will be aligned with time tomorrow.

And as the saying goes “Everything will fall into place RIGHT ON TIME.””

-Darrius E. Littleton

Time and Commitment

Time and Commitment

Does the time we put in towards our goals reflect our commitment?

“Excellent question.

Time. Commitment.

The goals that we have for ourselves require both time and commitment.

Time. Commitment.

There is not one without the other.

Time. Commitment.

They are the bow to our gift.

Time. Commitment.

They are tied together and hold precious value to our dreams.

Time. Commitment

Time is the reflection of our commitment to our goals.

Commitment controls the variable of time it takes to reach our goal.

Time. Commitment

So, when is the right time to place our focus on our goals?

The simple answer is NOW.

The time is always “NOW” when it comes to making the commitment to our goals.

Every second, every minute, every hour that our goals lack our attention pushes them further and further in the distance.

The only way to keep your goals close is to commit yourself and make the time for them.

Make the time and commit yourself to reaching your goals.

Time. Commitment.”

Lessons From Failure

eLessons From Failure

What has failure taught you?

“I am sure you are expecting me to write a long post about the many things failure can teach you.

I am sure you are expecting a bunch of optimistic positions about how to use failure as a building block towards your success.

Well, not today.

Why?

Because there is only one thing that matters when it comes to failure.

The only thing that matters is….

That you get back up.

Someone: “Really? That’s it?”

Yes, that is it.

Because when you get back up from failure you are one more step closer to success.”

That’s it. The End.

Solution Seeker

Solution Seeker

Do you ever find yourself spending too much time soaking in your problems?

If you answered “yes”, then this post is for you.

If you answered “no”, then this post is also for you. (As a reminder)

“It is human nature to find ourselves spending too much energy worrying about our problems. Quite frankly, I could make a case that there is nothing wrong with taking the time to deal with the emotions in our daily situations and analyzing our problems.

However, the problem arises when we don’t spend the same amount of energy seeking solutions.

There is an attribute in sales that they use called “results driven” when seeking the perfect candidate. The candidate they are seeking possesses a keen ability to not only deal with problems, but also keep their sight on delivering results.

They are aware of all the problems that they may face, but they understand they can’t afford to lose their focus. They been assigned the task of delivering results.

So what do they do?

They use it to their advantage.

How?

The problem is not what is driving them. It is their drive to bring in results that pushes them forward. Once they are able to identify the problem, then they immediately turn their focus to finding a solution that can deliver results.

The same concept can be used throughout life. It does you zero good by spending more time worrying or complaining about a problem. The benefits come to those that spend more time trying to discover a solution.

Everything that you aspire in life is waiting on you. It just might be gift wrapped in a miniature problem awaiting your solution so that you can reap the reward.”

One Day Closer

One Day Closer

What is there to gain when you accept that yesterday, today and even tomorrow might not go the way you planned?

Let me tell you what you will gain.

1. A sense of peace

2. Understanding

“You gain a sense of peace because you learn to accept that every single day will never go the way you plan. You can only control what you can control. You have to just do your part and allow the rest to work itself out in its own timing.

You have to be able to find your peace in accepting that this is the way life is designed. It’s as simple as that.

You gain understanding by learning to take the good with the “not so good”. You must learn and discover the blessing in the two. Just because yesterday, today, or tomorrow do not go the way you plan or planned, it does not mean that things are not working in your favor. There is a blessing in every single day because each day that comes and goes…..

is one more day that we are closer to our divine purpose.

Greatness: Embrace Your Rise

Embrace Your Rise

“Nobody said the rise would be easy….

In fact, every champion has been forced to be humbled by their losses.

The difference between a great champion and an ordinary champion is how they learned to deal with those losses .

They embrace the challenge, they always work harder and they never give up .

I encourage you to study the habits of great leaders. It is not necessarily their gains, but how they handled their losses that made them great.

As I close, whatever it is that you decide to do with this lesson always remember

You too are great.

EMBRACE YOUR RISE”

-Darrius E. Littleton

Hold Onto Your Dreams

Hold Onto Your Dreams

Take the time to write down your dreams.

When you write down a dream, you are bringing it from the original dream state into existence. You allow reality and the idea to connect.

Whenever we begin to see what was once a dream show up in front of us, written out into existence, then that single act brings a powerful influence to its inception.

The connection forms a wave of confidence and momentum for the dream to grow from a vision into a reality.

Write out your dreams and don’t allow the vision to fade.

Our dreams are meant to flourish. Hold onto your dreams and bring them into existence.

Be You: Serve Your Purpose

Be You: Serve Your Purpose

“Do you ever wonder how he/she seems so gifted or so great at whatever they do?

I am going to let you in on a secret. (Shh..)

They are just being who they have been called to be.

The only difference is that you are spending more time watching them do the things that make them great than you are working on the things that make you great.

We are all unique and special. Each of us holding onto our own gift.

I encourage you to start spending less time watching others show us what they are great at and spend more time showing us what makes “YOU” great.”

Mind Game: Overcoming The Fear Of Taking A Risk

Mind Game: Overcoming The Fear Of Taking A Risk

“Why are we not courageous enough to take a risk on certain things that we desire in life?

The answer is simple. It is because we face a challenge.

The only challenge that faces us and dictates how much courage we have to pursue the things we want in life is fear.

The fear of taking a risk.

We fear taking risks because in our mind it involves a probability that might equate to failure.

It is a mind game. A mind game that we must conquer.

Once we make our mind up that we can achieve anything we set our mind to, then the probability of a reward on the other side of the equation becomes greater.

Whatever you want out of life set your mind to it, be courageous, stay focused, give it 100 percent and you will reap the reward.”

Lessons From 2020 Series : Embrace The Journey

Lessons From 2020 - Embrace The Journey

Anonymous:

“2020. Embrace? Never place those two words in the same sentence! Are you crazy?”

My response:

I know 2020 was a tough year to even consider to embrace. However, 2020 was a year that taught us a few things that we can take with us moving forward. Such as, don’t take things for granted, be grateful for what you have, and always remember that there is strength inside of us that we can lean on during difficult times.

As ugly as it may sound, 2020 is a relevant part of the story in the chapter about our growth.

Control Your Perspective

Control Your Perspective

“One of the greatest lessons in life is to learn to control your perspective.

Positivity and perspective are two of the best tools to help us maneuver through life with an impact.

Positivity = I will stop telling myself life is handing me losses,

Perspective= I will start telling myself life is handing me lessons.

Once you master both, then whatever you face in life becomes a lot easier.

You realize there is no way you can lose.

You learn, you execute, and you accomplish.

That’s it.

The 3 Ps in life: Power, Perspective, Positivity.

You have the Power, You control the Perspective,

Stay Positive.”
