“If listening is not one of your best abilities then you may be missing the mark.
In order to be your very best then you have to amplify yourself by being a listener.
The ability to listen and learn from others is a golden opportunity that will help you to build your foundation so that your message has a greater impact on others.
Greatness is not concerned with your seat at the table.
Those that only feel that they can be great because their seat gives them the power to speak are sitting at the table with a dull one edged sword.
Those that may or may not have a seat at the table, but choose to listen and learn understand their impact is not determined by their seat.
Their impact comes after listening and learning so much, they have discovered the problems at the table.
And by listening and learning so much, they now hold the key to the table’s ultimate success.
If at that point nobody at the table wants to listen, all the listening and learning has now positioned you to take those same skills and either pitch that key to success to a table that will listen or MAKE YOUR OWN TABLE.
The titles of the world don’t determine greatness, your ability to listen and learn in any capacity to serve the needs of others is where you discover your greatness.”
Do you ever find yourself spending too much time soaking in your problems?
If you answered “yes”, then this post is for you.
If you answered “no”, then this post is also for you. (As a reminder)
“It is human nature to find ourselves spending too much energy worrying about our problems. Quite frankly, I could make a case that there is nothing wrong with taking the time to deal with the emotions in our daily situations and analyzing our problems.
However, the problem arises when we don’t spend the same amount of energy seeking solutions.
There is an attribute in sales that they use called “results driven” when seeking the perfect candidate. The candidate they are seeking possesses a keen ability to not only deal with problems, but also keep their sight on delivering results.
They are aware of all the problems that they may face, but they understand they can’t afford to lose their focus. They been assigned the task of delivering results.
So what do they do?
They use it to their advantage.
How?
The problem is not what is driving them. It is their drive to bring in results that pushes them forward. Once they are able to identify the problem, then they immediately turn their focus to finding a solution that can deliver results.
The same concept can be used throughout life. It does you zero good by spending more time worrying or complaining about a problem. The benefits come to those that spend more time trying to discover a solution.
Everything that you aspire in life is waiting on you. It just might be gift wrapped in a miniature problem awaiting your solution so that you can reap the reward.”
What is there to gain when you accept that yesterday, today and even tomorrow might not go the way you planned?
Let me tell you what you will gain.
1. A sense of peace
2. Understanding
“You gain a sense of peace because you learn to accept that every single day will never go the way you plan. You can only control what you can control. You have to just do your part and allow the rest to work itself out in its own timing.
You have to be able to find your peace in accepting that this is the way life is designed. It’s as simple as that.
You gain understanding by learning to take the good with the “not so good”. You must learn and discover the blessing in the two. Just because yesterday, today, or tomorrow do not go the way you plan or planned, it does not mean that things are not working in your favor. There is a blessing in every single day because each day that comes and goes…..
is one more day that we are closer to our divine purpose.
When you write down a dream, you are bringing it from the original dream state into existence. You allow reality and the idea to connect.
Whenever we begin to see what was once a dream show up in front of us, written out into existence, then that single act brings a powerful influence to its inception.
The connection forms a wave of confidence and momentum for the dream to grow from a vision into a reality.
Write out your dreams and don’t allow the vision to fade.
Our dreams are meant to flourish. Hold onto your dreams and bring them into existence.“
“Do you ever wonder how he/she seems so gifted or so great at whatever they do?
I am going to let you in on a secret. (Shh..)
They are just being who they have been called to be.
The only difference is that you are spending more time watching them do the things that make them great than you are working on the things that make you great.
We are all unique and special. Each of us holding onto our own gift.
I encourage you to start spending less time watching others show us what they are great at and spend more time showing us what makes “YOU” great.”
“Why are we not courageous enough to take a risk on certain things that we desire in life?
The answer is simple. It is because we face a challenge.
The only challenge that faces us and dictates how much courage we have to pursue the things we want in life is fear.
The fear of taking a risk.
We fear taking risks because in our mind it involves a probability that might equate to failure.
It is a mind game. A mind game that we must conquer.
Once we make our mind up that we can achieve anything we set our mind to, then the probability of a reward on the other side of the equation becomes greater.
Whatever you want out of life set your mind to it, be courageous, stay focused, give it 100 percent and you will reap the reward.”
